     Trail Description

The trail features several switchbacks that build fun climbs and descents, with a total descent of 1600 feet. While there are a few minor steps or drops, the technical segments are brief and manageable for most intermediate riders. Becoming slightly technical towards the end, with rocks and tight switchbacks, the trail remains suitable for intermediate riders (all sections of trail can be safely walked). For those without a second car or hired shuttle service,  you can pedal a paved trail starting at the Red Canyon Visitor center.
